What kind of support does Brenda’s House offer?
For the parents:
- Connections with support workers to help you coordinate with community resources on your road to permanent housing.
- 24 hour, non-judgmental support and assistance.
- Help to create and manage a plan so you can achieve permanent housing.
For the children and the family:
- A safe and nurturing home, with access to important amenities.
- Weekday child care, in our in-house child care centre.
- Facilitated group and play activities that encourage healthy growth and development.
- Support to ensure children maintain schooling.
- Healthy, balanced meals and snacks.

They have currently exhausted all options for housing, and find themselves in need of shelter.
How can you access Brenda’s House?
- Please call Brenda’s House 24 hour support line at (403) 242 - 8575 ext. 0.
- A Family Support Worker will ask the caller about their specific needs and family situation.
- The worker will offer immediate non-judgmental support.
- Dependent upon our availability and your need, you will be offered support and access to the program as soon as possible.
